"Cabling for new customer connection"

Hi,

This often appears on roadworks.org for BT/Openreach FTTC installations. Does anyone know if it relates specifically to one customer (fttp/ftth), or is it a generic expression used for any fibre-related cabling installation?

Reason I ask is that it's appeared on the A379 at Torcross for December, and I wondered whether the rest of the region's fibre will already be complete or if this means we're in for another quarter of delays...

There seems to be a lot of BDUK funded work going on in your area.

It does say that is for a specific customer but seems quite strange. It could be the installation of a leased line for a customer.

What is your current RFS date?

Sept 30, but this is also the end of the quarter so...
