I have stopped posting if you haven't noticed. I was doing it to show people what they do during an FTTC installation. Gosh frown

I think you should ignore the one complainant and carry on!

My village just got it's first cab put in today and they started yesterday! Looks like they are finished which is great for me as according to various sites we are still under evaluation until Jan next year!

What i don't know is what happens next!

Agreed, the way I see it is this, if people don't want to see the information then don't read it.

Just take loads of pictures.

I plan to hopefully do the same when they install our FTTP, like pictures in our pit/chamber, that's if I see them, FTTP installs hardly ever get listed on roadworks unless there is an issue and needs stuff dug up of roads closed off etc, so I wouldn't know its happening until I see them blowing the fibre.

I would like to add to the voice of the people who say they want pictures. Ignore the one person calling you "saaaaaad, maaan!" If you're sad for taking an interest in the fibre installs close to you then so am I and several other hundred people on here.

Power Link-Up

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

Hey there, sorry for the lack of posts! I had a chat with a workman who was linking up the power to PCP2 and he said that he was digging up holes to fit in the power through ducts coming from the telegraph pole across the road.
I also asked when fibre will be available. He told me that he was just a normal workman building the cab for Openreach. His van read Morrisons Utilities or something like that. Anyway, he said that openreach had checked for blocks, and none were found, so he said it was just a case of fitting the fibre cabling through the ducts to the cabinet. He said it would be enabled by next month, fingers crossed, but knowing BT by reading some other posts on this forum, I have doubts that it is going to be at the provided time.

Thanks

FIBRE DELAYS AND CHECKER PROBLEM

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

Hey guys! Sorry for my long break away, busy things with my family have been going on!

Anyway I am kind of hacked off at the mo, as BT told me that I would be receiving fibre on the 31st june. Nothing happened. There were supposed to duct clearing on the 20th June but BT never turned up and they have delayed it to the 7th July. here] is a link to the roadworks picture , entitled 'capture' in the folder.

Now leading on from this, my eye was caught on the dsl checker ( here is a picture ). It said that ADSL 2+ is planned for the 31st July. Has this got anything to do with the fibre do you think?

Any help would be great! Thanks!
