It's hard to tell what is really going on, as you only have a subset of the stats. But from all the stats from unlocked HG612s it looks as though G.INP, (not G.IMP), is wholly beneficial, and I don't think I have seen any with "Fast path".

Notice that now G.INP is on, Bearer 0 which is the prime data channel has interleaving depth at 8, and the Delay setting is zero. That setting on normal FTTC interleaving is a minimum of 8ms, and goes straight onto your latency. Possibly in both directions.
The speed reduction due to interleaving is now generally more than removed.
The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.
