Hi all,
I have been having another issue in that I am trying to upgrade my already unlocked HG612 from version B030SP06 to B030SP08 however when I try to upgrade it by the original unlock method using LAN 2 and the reset button it simply takes me back to the login page after it started back up after I've let go of the reset button. I've tried different ways of resetting it to try it but not really getting anywhere. Please can someone give me some guidance?. I posted a reply the other day in a related thread.
Thanks

99% chance you've got this right, but are you starting from powered off, not from powered? That is, press and hold the reset button and while doing that turn the power on.
Pressing the reset when it is already powered up just does a factory reset, not a flash.

yeah, i powered off the HG612 then pressed and held reset button for 30 seconds then applied power and held reset for a further 5 seconds but soon as a let go a few seconds later the power light goes solid and i get the login page.

'Fraud not at the moment. Brain is working at half speed due to constant severe pain. But pressing the reset button for 30 seconds before turning on the power won't do anything other than make it more likely you accidentally slip off it having it pressed when you plug the power in.j
IIRC the power light comes on straight away, and you have to keep the button pressed until the lights start flashing. It's easy to slip up.

From memory....from off
1)press reset button
2)power on
3)Release power button after >5 seconds (say 10)
4)navigate to 192.168.1.1

Thanks i have might of being letting go before the lights started flashing easy to do. I've solved it, finally, i used a computer i just freshly installed windows on and used mozilla firefox with av disabled and all the other settings in the LAN properties uncheck other than ipv4 and it came up with the screen asking me to upgrade the firmware finally. I now have B030SP08 however i upon using the vendor command and stats command on the hg612 through telnet it looks like my line is not G.INP enabled and neither is the cabinet which is an ECI 128. Is the rollout for ECI 128 cabinets still going or have they paused again?
Thanks

ECI rollout somewhere between 40-60%, maybe a month to 100%

Ok thanks for letting me know, do you know if it would make a difference to banded lines at all eg: remove banding or increase the banding sync speed higher for example? I'm hoping to also expect low latency about Christmas time maybe earlier my latency suddenly dropped from 36ms odd to 20ms so when G.INP gets enabled hopefully i will get maybe 10 or 15ms latency which would be nice.

Should do

I think G.INP has just about 20 minutes or so ago just been applied to my line despite reading somewhere the chipset for the ECI cab must be xb206 for eci when G.INP enabled when using the vendor command on the HG612? The stats on the webgui have gone a bit weird and are all over the place. However my latency like expected is now 10ms. The bearer is now 1 on the stats however i hardly gained anything in sync speed it was previously 22399 now its 22400.
Do the stats look ok for G.INP?

G.INP is active on your connection and looks fine.
