Maybe TalkTalk is quietly running something that behaves a but like the IP Profile but is not the IP Profile and this setting on individual lines can occasionally be wrong

Agreed, but how it can get the interleave depth to 5 is a mystery to me. Unless it is the default on one of the OR options.

Just got off the phone with TT support about this very issue.
I ordered a speed boost last night, this morning my router was synced at 26mbps down. Restarted the connection a couple of times, then rebooted the router. It now syncs at 79999 down, and 19999 up.
Speedtest shows 18mbps upload, but still only 38.5mbps down, exactly what I was already getting.
They went through their script, and decided that I need a new router. I doubt that's the issue, but we'll see.

So what is so odd about a depth of 5?

Only ever been seen on here on from two users as far as I know.
On BT Wholesale circuits, even though we are talking about the Openreach DLM, it is 1 - Fast path, 8 - minimal interleaving associated with G.INP, or in the high hundreds or even thousands for normal interleaving.

I was bored today and dug out the OR modem and connected that back up.
But I cant remember where the Interleaving stats are in this info:
Its also interesting to compare this info with what it was like when I first got VDSL2 (http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/fibre/f/4324380-fibre-installed-eci-modem.html?vc=1)

Try here for an explanation of what the parameters mean.
D is the interleaving depth, so it's 16 downstream and 8 upstream.

|
As jaydub says. But to my mind those are quite high figures for a line that has G.INP active. The Delay of 3ms on Bearer 1 looks odd to me as well, but I can't check my own at the moment.

They match the downstream on my line, where INP=48. Quite normal, I think, on Huawei cabinets, for the depth to be 8 or 16.
My bearer 1 has the same INP/delay settings, and the same framing parameters, downstream.
I don't have G.INP activated upstream, so can't compare.

I agree re the depth 16 down, but 8 up is surely unusual? And a downstream delay of 3ms on Bearer 1 alongside zero on Bearer 0?
