It does indeed use a Broadcom chipset.

Thanks for confirmation. It would be silly for router manufacturers to still be using Lantiq or similar chipsets.

We had a new line installed recently along with a new infinity service on a relatives connection . Took 12 days from going live for g.inp to be enabled. The line had minimal errors pre g.inp

Sky Fibre Pro - Zyxel vmg8324 (v14 bridge mode) + PFSENSE 2.4.0 with ipv6 - ECI cab, G.INP disabled as of 8th April 2016

Did you go from downstream FEC + INP 3 to FEC + G.INP?

The line activated in fast path with no interleaving or delay then went straight to g.inp. See btmaxcd on mydsl for more info . stats have been uploaded since point of activation. Note - its reported as eci but its not as the huawei cab can be seen out the window smile

Oh my, it's skyECI! How are you? That's lucky re the minimal errors on fastpath! I remember that there were thousands of downstream CRC's/hour when there was downstream fastpath on my line... I would take downstream fastpath over G.INP any day, as I get 20 - 25 ms pings with downstream G.INP... Shame it can't be that way. frown

Ah, whoops! My bad! Is there any possibility that you may be connected to a Huawei cabinet any time soon?

I think my is a stable line as the margin has not moved and still on fast path for the last 7 days.

I did plug in my Zyxel router to see stats and left it on for a few hours and seen 0 errors in every counter.

For ny eci line sadly highly unlikely... the eci cab was full for a while and not taking orders and now it is so I think perhaps another card was added.
