Is this a G.Fast cabinet?

Hello,

01494 High Wycombe is mentioned in ISPReview as a G.fast rollout area.
Can anyone confirm this image is a G.fast cabinet please?

No that is a VDSL2 cabinet with a side extension to add more VDSL2 line card ports

The G.Fast pod would be attached to the cabinet in the background next to the litter bin.

And that could just be an extension as well rather than G.Fast - I got all excited when one of those appeared on my cabinet until somebody put me right. The G.Fast pod will have vents.

As mentioned by others, the G.Fast pod always goes on the PCP.
What you pictured is an expansion to the Fibre cabinet, known as a High Density expansion.
It adds space for more ports (i.e more customers).

This image of Ignitionnets cabinet is a great example of a G.Fast pod.
The G.Fast pod on the left has vents.
The unvented part on the right is just a PCP extension to hold more tie cables.They are usually added at the same time as a 2nd Fibre cabinet.

Where can I find out when Gfast will eventually get to my location pls?

We�re really looking for a faster upload, say a 100 or 250 balanced FTTP but no one is offering it.
