BT Hub 6 with Huawei cabinet

I've got a friend who has FTTC. From checkers it's a Huawei cabinet.
Would the BT Business Smart Hub - Type A , aka BTBHub6 , be fine with that Huawei cabinet ?
I seem to recall there were different modem requirements between ECI and Huawei cabinets.

No different modem requirements for each cabinet.

Some prefer and advise others to try match chipset but I found Broadcom modems best on my ECI and Huawei cabinet.

The BT Smart Hub (HH6?) uses a BCM63167.
It's a fairly good Broadcom chipset, and it's Broadcom in the Huawei cabinet.

BT Business Hub 6 A - working fine on our Huawei cabinet ( we can spit on it...), holds full synch 20/80, same as other modem/routers I have.

Noise margin: 11.6 dB / 7.1 dB. Fast Path.

Isn't the Smart Hub type B just the FTTP variant? It has a RJ45 WAN port instead of an RJ11 DSL port. It may not have any xDSL chipset inside.

I've never actually seen a picture of a type B for FTTC so couldn't comment if such a thing exists.

edit: can you clarify if it's a business hub 6B or HH6B?

The FTTP version is still a type A. Type B is FTTC.
