DLM Dummy Question

[link to this post]

I recently switched from SKY to Vodafone Broadband in doing so jumped from Sky's lower speed offering to Vodafone's Superfast 2. At times of low user demand I get what is for me very good speeds according to the various speedtesters I have been using.however at peak times Vodafone drops alarmingly - I've read complaints about their backhaul being log jammed in places.
My question is however:- If the DLM reacts to periods of good throughput say 6 or 7am does it conversely react to the service say between 7-10pm. In other words does the DLM know any difference between poor line performance and overloaded backhaul performance?

DLM doesnt perceive throughput , just sync and errors.

So if the speed drops are just congestion related, then DLM isnt bothered.

Thank You. That's a relief as I was concerned about the effect my bad speed tests might have on the DLM.
