Re: Major difference in single threaded speedtests

I don't know how these things are set up, but I wonder if the tbb single-stream test is routing down a lower speed link at their end than the multi-stream.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up.

Some data from other fast tests

Of note from the Vodafone Gigafast is that there seems to be a pattern of high start with a fade over time.

Mr S
Do you have any TBB results from North Scotland on the higher end (>200Mbs) services? Though I imagine there wont be a huge number of users in this bracket!

In reply to a post by jchamier:
Networks are getting insanely complicated. Due to the increasing speeds.

Quite the opposite actually.

Building better networks, not just faster ones.

Cheers, any from the Highlands/Aberdeenshire, ideally on the Openreach FTTP platform?

I'm in IV6 (Muir of Ord), on BT's 80/20 FTTP service. What do you want to know?

I wanted to know what folks were getting on the single thread TBB tester on 330 & above FTTP services in the Highlands. However you seem to be on FTTP 80/20 and your single thread TBB result looks fine. Mine doesnt:

Btw Im in Westhill IV2, just outside Inversneckie smile
