Half job?

I often see these things quite low on the pole and was wondering if there's a minimum height?
This one I assume was forgotten about - it's been like this for 6 months or so, surprised it's not been vandalised yet.

It needs reporting to Openreach as its clearly never been attached to the pole as it still has a bag with screws attached to it.

It's also upside down is it not? The ones round our way are all the other way up, presumably to allow for gravitational drainage if there are ever any leaks.

As Dect says, you should report that to Openreach.

It needs its bracket fixing up the pole and then the joint fixing to that.

For reference this is the way the ones near us are installed:

Nice bolted bracket, out of normal reach with two coils of fibre neatly tacked underneath.

I have been to that road about 7-8 months ago. It appears the sub contractors probably forgot to attach it to the pole. Best to report it to OR.

ISP: BT - FTTP 330Mb/50Mb
ISP: PlusNet - FTTC - 80Mb/20Mb

Birmingham Fibre First Program: FTTP - BT Ultra fast fibre 2 plus package - 330Mb down 50Mb up.

If neither you or kebabselector are able to report it, could one of you post the location of the pole so someone else can.

A full clear picture of the writing on the front would work too.

What is the best way to contact Open Reach? They do not seem to be public facing, since their customer is the likes of BT or TalkTalk etc.

My last attempt got me through to a firm of Solicitors who act for them!

At one time there used to be a public telephone number where you could report damage to their plant etc.

Cheers!
