Sky fibre gone live.

[link to this post]

Living close to a street cab around 80 yards all provider checks suggested i should have no trouble reaching the top figure of the up to 76mb rate.
It went live yesterday and the figure says 66mb down and 19999 up. Can this change as i believe there is a sort of testing period.

It will most probably increase by around 10mbps if G.INP is enabled in the next couple of days.

I started on 55/20 and after 2 days went up to 68/20 with G.INP activation.

Just leave it alone and let DLM do it's thing.

Yep, wolvesmad are correct there! Leave it alone as DLM will do it own things to add extra 10Mbps if G.INP went enabled in a couple of days. You should get 80/20 no problem.

If it really is 80 yards then there is somethingh amiss. I would expect an max achievable to be well into the 90s or higher and actual sync to be someting like: 79.998 or 80.000

66 is more like a line that is well over 400m

Can you describe how itís all connected up in your home ... extension wiring can be to the detriment of sync rates on VDSL.

I would note what Zarjaz has said and make sure your internal wiring is the best it can be. At that range it should have max sync even without G.INP enabled etc.

Connection Speed 118483 kbps 12955 kbps
Line Attenuation D1(44.7 dB) , D2(0.0 dB) , D3(0.0 dB) U0(0.0 dB) , U1(0.0 dB) , U2(0.0 dB)
Noise Margin 3.1 dB 3.1 dB
Sky Q Hub Sky G.fast 360 meters

That suggests there is an issue somewhere. Could be inside of outside your house.

Follow Zarjaz's comment first and see also if you can get full link stats.

The master socket is a filtered alien nation face plate, comes in close to the bedroom on landing window, router plugged straight into this.
Its only the SR102 router no idea if this matters, not as clued up as the helpers on here

Or you aren't looking at your/an FTTC cabinet/PCP?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up.
