FTTP - is there a future rollout plan with dates?

[link to this post]

Hi,

I'm very interested in getting FTTP and can't afford the on-demand prices.

My old property now has BT Full Fibre available to it and it's in an area that I wouldn't have expected Full Fibre to be in the early stages.

My current property can only get FTTC and I don't know how to find out when FTTP will be available or even if it's planned to be installed.

Is there a website that shows the future rollout plans for FTTP detailing which areas will receive it and roughly when that might be?

TIA.

Openreach site has lists for Fibre First and Fibre Village/Town rollouts, but no guarantee any will reach 100% exchange area coverage anyway

So there is some rough guide but nothing for what is going to be the 20 million roll-out, the Fibre First/Village should get close to the 4.5 million mark

Keep checking https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband
Also as Andrew says, are you in a fibre first town as if you are then thats a good sign.
Also do register on that openreach page as they do email when things change, I was notified in November last year that 'its coming and in planning stages', in Feb this year I noticed vans and guys doing stuff so just asked them what they were doing, by April I was installed and up and running.

Its a shame they have left off the remaining bduk areas on the map - whist small in comparison it still leaves those in limbo.

Current published plans (PDFs):

* Market towns and villages
* Towns, Cities and Boroughs

To keep an eye for updates, the former is linked from the "fibre-first" page, and the latter is linked from the "transparency" page.

In fairness to them, the Openreach site does say " It does not show FTTP deployment related to BDUK, new sites, our market towns and villages build and other smaller scale infill."
I'm keeping an eye on them too as my area is now showing purple - "Build In Progress"
I'm also looking at one.network (roadworks.org) as CityFibre are doing a lot of work near to me, but not specifically streets local to me. That seems to change regularly so I'm keeping my finger crossed.
I'm currently with EE and they don't seem to have any plans for FTTP. On price alone I'm hoping we get the Vodafone (CityFibre) offering first.
