Any help or advice appreciated - have tried with BT and gotten nowhere.
Live 1.5 miles away from fibre enabled cabinet - told too far for FTTC.
Stuck on ADSL with speeds of 2-3Mb and no plans for any upgrade or improvement.
Have tried USO route told 4G is only solution and tried BT EE 4G.
Gave it a try for a month - connection kept dropping out and speed generally around 7Mb.
I think the mast is relatively over capacity as the signal strength was fine solid 3 bars on the EE modem. Not far from mast and good line of sight so should have worked but didn't. Also didn't allow me to connect to secure server to access work emails at home.
Have letter from BT basically saying I have no options and can appeal to ombudsman if I wish.
Have tried community partnership and quoted roughly £25k per household for FTTP. We asked for a quote for FTTC with a new cabinet and awaiting to see if they will give us a price for this - multiple other households in similar situation.
Noticed a lineman working on the pole outside my house a few weeks ago.

Does this pole have fibre?
Apologies for photo can take more if required.
If this does have fibre why were we quoted over £25k for a distance of roughly 100m from pole to house?
If anyone can clarify re pole appreciated or any routes or advice I can try.
Many thanks in advance.
