Finally more FTTP movement

[link to this post]

Moved from 1 side of the village with 80Mbps fttc July 2019 to the other side where its under 9Mbps.

Noticed fttp kit on poles but fibre in loops taped to pole, found out BDUK were upgrading a handful of postcodes due to this, got excited.

After much chasing OR & council found out work started they found blocked ducts so cost exceeded scope of BDUK so got canned.

Talked parish council into starting a CFP after 6 months we hit 100% in Nov 2020.

Spotted White vans nearby this week & a couple of guys up a pole where they installed a, second CBT again leaving the fibre looped up. Overheard them saying just got to bring the fibre link up the main road (coming from direction of fttc cab) & they said would be live in 1-2 months.

Told parish council as they hadn't had any updates from OR.

Fingers crossed it all goes to plan & I can ditch this terrible 4g connection
