BT Digital Phone Line

[link to this post]

I've recently renewed my phone and broadband contract with BT. As my exchange is full fibre, I requested that I be moved across to a digital line but BT are saying that if I moved across I'd lose my existing phone number. Anyone know how soon BT might resolve the issue so I could keep my existing number on the digital line?

Thanks

I have recently moved from FTTC and analog phone to FTTP and Digital (Cloud Voice Express) phone - and have the same number. Yes, at order there was a minor problem, systems said it could not transfer however the sales adviser finally sorted it,.

I moved to FTTP about 18 months ago but still have copper line for voice. However, I received an email from BT yesterday to say they will be moving me to digital voice in the near future and that they will send me an email when they are going to do it so that I can plug the phone into the SmartHub. Looks like they can move my number even without me requesting it to be done.
