Whats this box?

[link to this post]

I saw a bunch of vans parked on a local corner and bidb.uk had listed a planning application from communityfibre (which has now gone).

Now what is left is this yellow box looks like it could be just cover ready for a new green box install. Does this mean community fibre are making a roll out in my area atm? Any guess on how early stages this would be.

Looks like a concrete plinth for a cabinet.. the box protects the concrete until it is cured

The left cab definitely looks like the one CommunityFibre use (a HellermannTyton enclosure) for power, and the proximity to the yellow capped thing looks like a base for a larger CF cab that holds an OLT or similar kit.

Keep an eye out for any manhole covers which say CommunityFibre near that cabinet.

I like my internet how I like my breakfast cereal...

Thanks for the replies, exciting!

I think I'll have a new hobby manhole spotting (probably shouldn't google that one lol)
