I moved to Plusnet around a month ago now from Zen. Have always synced at the full 79999/20000 for the 5 years I've been at this address with Zen.
Ever since I've been connected to PN (same equipment, I simply changed the log in details on the router) I've only ever managed a maximum DL of 70Mbps, despite being connected at the full speeds.
I'm using an unlocked HG612 with an Asus RT-AC86U, wired connection, no recent changes to any hardware.
Spoken with PN and they can see nothing wrong with the connection, am provisioned correctly.
Have rebooted the modem a couple of times in the past month with no change, most recently just now.
Any thoughts what could be the cause? I know its only about a 5Mbps loss but its frustrating that there is no reason, that I can see, that I shouldn't still be getting the full speeds that I've been getting for the last 5 years!
Thoughts?
