Hi All,
First time newbie here. Apology in advance.
Switched to Virgin Broadband fibre 1Gbps from cable broadband also with virgin at c. 135Mbps. Since swapping over we get drop outs once every few hours on most devices. Google Mesh Network was fine before and I've run many tests on that with no indication of any issues. It has been a pretty solid Wifi set up for a while. Obviously the home hub (latest model) is set to modem only mode.
Symptoms are the Smart TVs just freeze or the internet connect drops out. Noticing the odd drop out on the Nest video history. Worst of all is with the daughters gaming. Drops out every ten or 20 minutes.
I've just started a BQM but in the meantime has anyone else had this on Virgin Fibre Broadband. Loving the 50Mbps upload speed and when it works at 900Mbps down it's pretty swift (limited only by the wifi network).
Maybe I just want too much so apologies for raising this.
thanks
n
