CityFibre Norwich

[link to this post]

So CityFibre are rolling out FTTP to the central parts of Norwich and I'm on the proposed coverage map. A colleague went live almost a year ago now, but all news and activity seems to have gone dead. My Virgin contract expires in August and I'm loathe to renew it for 18m if FTTP is imminent but emailing CityFibre, the local contractor and resellers to get some kind of rough estimation of when they'll reach me goes unanswered.

Does anybody have a contact or insider knowledge?

Have you looked at bidb.uk? Cityfibre roadworks on going but seem to be on the outskirts.

I hadn't, thanks - great site. Sadly it looks like they've done very little in 2 years, might be 10 before they do the entire city.

Bear in mind that bidb.uk only shows where they are currently working, not where they've been. I don't know about Norwich but I do know that most of the Taverham/Drayton area has been done and is active. This is not yet reflected in the thinkbroadband mappng tool either so hopefully for you they've done more than you think.

What does it say of you put your postcode in the cityfibre checker?
