Fibrus damaged Openreach connection

[link to this post]

I've just had Fibrus out to install a new connection. They fed their fibre down Openreach's pipe, and in the process, they've inadvertently tugged on the Openreach cable, possibly causing damage inside the Openreach CSP, as my Openreach ONT was showing LOS before the Fibrus engineers had finished. Now I've Fibrus up and running, I have a cancellation order in with EE, and my service with them will finish next Tuesday (Not that I can use it over the next week with the damaged cable, but 🤷🏻‍♂️). However, if I were to switch back to an Openreach based ISP at some point in the future, would my ISP/Openreach be likely charge me for repairing the connection?

*Probably* not …. but, why not raise a fault on it now, get it fixed, and then you can send the bill to Fibrus ?

There won't be a charge, report the fault and get it fixed.
