Zzoomm and telegraph poles between trees

[link to this post]

Hi,

Just a quick question, Zzoomm have installed their network in our area with most areas now being able order a connection.

I've noticed that in our street, properties that are supplied by 3 certain poles are still showing as awaiting to be installed, but it seems properties before and after these poles can order Zzoomm.

Would this suggest that Zzoomm won't install on these poles due to them being surrounded by trees. The trees are on public ground and bt have been up the poles numerous times over the years and if anyone has a fault if needed.

Currently I'm on gfast but if switch provider on the bt network I would have to drop back to low speeds and wait for Openreach to upgrade our pole to fibre which is anytime upto Dec 2026. Zzoomm engineers told us the network for area would be ready march 2024, which it is for everyone else but us.

Is it just a matter of waiting and constantly checking their site? Or is it likely they won't install due to the trees.

Thanks

The trees branches cover the poles, it just odd that we're on the main road with rest street and they've like gone round us, so about 10 houses aren't connected, are we seem to be on poles that are covered by trees.
