FTTP on Build Plan?

[link to this post]

Hi

I have been waiting for FTTP for a while.
We live on a road which basically creates a triangle on the estate,
One road has been upgraded to FTTP and can be seen on the poles with the FTTP equiipment, however the pole that serves my property has not been upgraded despite the others being done over a year ago on my road.
Emailed Openreach and initially told that not included in build plans, however last year got an email to say added to build plan.
Checking today I am being seeing "Not Yet Available"
Is there anything that can be done to try and find out why some poles have been missed and when we might get FTTP?

Thanks

Sending an email to the Openreach COE is something that has worked in the past.

Good luck!

Emailing the CEO is the last resort 'nuclear' option, so should be abused (not that the OP would or anyone reading), but typically gets the attention of the executive complaint handing team.

The other alternative which I and other have used successfully is to put an enquiry through the Openreach Availability Checker Enquiry form with the reason of "I cannot get fibre but my neighbours can”. Also in my experience elicits a very fast response.

Completely agree, and whilst i did use that choice - twice in fact, it was due to time frames being moved forward.

Thanks all.
I will try the less nuclear option and then maybe move through the gears as they say.

Thanks

Managed to get an answer from Openreach,
They have admitted my property was scheduled for FTTP by June 2025 but now moved to by June 2026. No news as yet as to why itss delayed a further year
