My quoted speeds from the BT wholesale checker are: 31.6/7.5, the two cabs are about 600 meters apart. Bt have never got their estimates for my line correct. Their estimate for adsl2+ on my line is about 6/7 meg but I actually get 13.2 (3dB margin).

Take this with a pinch of salt but I spoke to a BT guy today who was wiring up the Fibre Cab I am connected too, he said it should be live in about 3 weeks.

I am just off Minshull New Road.

lots of activity today

OR were wiring up the FTTC cab on broad street near bargin booze.

Contractors putting in a rewiring on FTTC cab outside flying lady

OR installing cables near the cab on the big round around near the old copenhall high school

Plus Post above

Also spoke to engineers and same anser next couple of weeks (which also ties in with the email i had from Zen Fibre Broadband about them going live next month on the haslington exchange. Personally believe that the haslington exchange will still be a phased role out from Jan to March as it serves 22,000 residential premsis)

I glad a started this thread as feedback from you guys has been good over the past couple of weeks keep the info coming in

Cheers

Darreb

Yes, as I was coming home from work, there were about four BT vans parked up just off Crewe Green roundabout and also a couple of BT vans parked up by my cab. (still no FTTC cab there yet).

New FTTC cabs going in on Lansdown past the Flying lady and one on the sysdney main road before you get to the Sydney arms.

The FTTC map says exchnage already enabled (I THINK NOT LOL) but to be fair line checker still saying 31/03/2011

My cabinet is up and running, to what degree I am unsure but sticking my ear to it just I could hear the fans working.

The cab is on the corner of Rolls Avenue and Frank Webb.

I don't think that mine is ready yet, it is still silent. All the holes dug have been filled in (Last hole was filled in last week - Power?). I guess it just needs Openreach to install their stuff and test it.

BT Wholesale checker still gives 31st March for my number frown
