Correct, they will pull/push the main fibre through the ducts under the roads and side walks, and install a number of splitters under those twin man holes. Each splitter serves about 128 connections.
Once your local splitter is commisioned, you can try to get on the trial, and then they come and run the fibre from the splitter to your property.
So keep an eye for the big Fibre trucks delivering the fibre and the engineers installing the splitters. You can they start checking the
adsl checker to see when this is available to you, and they get onto the ISP's to get connected.
Checked is updated about 2 weeks in advance of being available, so the Fibre trucks are still the best early sign of a high speed future.
