"Thanks a lot Tref. Keep them coming Im still fighting misperceptions in BT.
The comments on where to deploy are absolutely spot one. Were looking into this.
Take care,

"Please, BT, make the FTTC map data publicly available. Cabinet-level availability of FTTC products are a very real requirement for many of us. For example, choosing between two potential new homes can be down to the availability of high-speed broadband; and by high-speed, we mean in excess of 8mb. The current post-code dsl checker database is woefully inaccurate, you have an opportunity with FTTC to correct this problem.
In addition, the public can in turn do your research for you; do you really know how many people in a given cabinet area want an Infinity product? If you publish the cabinet data, then those in an area with no current plans to enable will become aware of the fact, and can lobby for the cabinet to be enabled. You could pre-empt this by making the lobbying material available such as a petition form. Submitted petitions would enable a much granular estimation of the potential takeup; a win-win situation for all in areas where the was no prior intention to deploy FTTC.
I would also suggest considering cabinet areas which have been lagging for almost a decade; suburban cabinets which are 6km+ from an exchange (line-length). Customers on these cabinets have always been an the trailing end of broadband ; from being unable to receive any service until RADSL, and <1mb service since. These customers have been left behind by DSL, ADSL2, and now FTTC. FTTC offers the capability to service broadband-drought spots.
Please make this data available."
