Good stuff, let us know how you get on and the speeds you get off Parkers Road. I'm on the Cabinet end of Cliff Road / Bradfield. Have you gone with Infinity or another??

Thanks

just been installed had a good chat to the OR engineer he said that they are still rolling it out in haslington. funny he also said that he could not put me a new master socket in as im not with BT Retail he had to use the one that was already there due to the fact i went with AQUISS but not bothered as thats where i wanted it. Must say to anyone looking for a DIFFERENT ROUTER on aquiss go with the buffalo G300 NH i this auto connected all i had to do was enter my user name really pleased with it. The BT engineer was also impressed as they dont install it unless you go with BT Retail. my first speed test below

Another hole appeared next to my cab over the weekend. This was filled in and now has a small grid between the new and old cabs which says "earth rod". I am on one of the cabs which has changed to 30/6/2011. Anyone know what this is. Nothing had happened for a couple of weeks until this appeared.

Seadog, regarding parkers road. I went with infinity, speeds depend on which site i do test on, this site gives me a reading off 28913 Kbps down 6516 Kbps up and on speedtest.net 37 down and 8 up

Ok thanks for the stats on the Parkers Road Cab, looks very promising. I'm with Be on ADSL2+ but am lucky to get 5 Down / 1 Up so FTTC will be great. Just need to wait a few more months to get out of my Contract with Be and switch. Cheers
