Yeah, a young lad I recently trained doesn't do the whole hot drink thing, most odd.

It was kasg offered the wrong biscuits, not you . Mine didn't want any either. I only offered coffee, which was accepted, forgot about the biscuits! Anyway, I've still got the old faceplate so I suppose I could swap it, but the Openreach one works perfectly well, getting maximum profile since installation (cabinet about 400m away).

I only offered coffee, which was accepted, forgot about the biscuits! I understand that a bacon sandwich is often agreeable. Anyway, I've still got the old faceplate I should hope so. After all you purchased it, you own it!

The trick is to make sure you get the BT one as a spare if your existing one is left in place. The user has paid for that as well.

So does the socket actually make any real world difference? I mean its not like i'm having any issues tbh...

No effect at all. Even a normal dangly filter will work, though the quality of those can be suspect. Any reputable filtered faceplate should be fine.
The filter only allows phone-range frequencies to and from the phone socket. ADSL/VDSL sockets get the full signal including the phone range.

What the hell ADSD24!?
Its Saturday - The weekend. Weekend according to ADSL24's website is off peak.
Yet whatever i do today it is counted towards my limit. I just downloaded a couple of games via Steam as its 'off peak' and wont count to my limit..
Next thing i know i get an email saying i am about to hit my limit.... Now i have 1gb to last me the rest of the month.....
Just spoke to customer service. Clearly doesn't have a clue. He said call back on Monday!
Sorry but i wish i'd gone with BT now.....
