Hi
Last week i recieved a letter from BT inviting me to join the FTTP trial. Yesterday the enginner called and there is a new piece of plastic tube coming out of the ground in my utilities cabinet ( i was not in when he called) the final installation is on the 3/June/11. I am located on Shenley Lodge near Furzton Lake. So hear hoping all goes well

That's sad news to hear, hopefully you can get this resolved.
We're still waiting, looks like not much is happening, have seen a number of Openreach and what appears to be contractors in other parts of the Bradwell Abbey area putting what appears to be large black tubing into telephone manholes and feeding them on...keeping fingers crossed we'll see some activity in Broughton Gate.

That sounds like the pipes that the fibre gets pushed through. Where have you seen them doing this work?

sounds more like the fibre cable itself. Depends what he means by large... the cable drum might be large...

It definately think black cable or tubing on a large spindle...
