Both Huawei and ECI have 288 line and 128 line cabinets.
Some areas will be Huawei and some will be ECI, but I doubt they will be mixed.
I believe there will be an ECI modem for ECI areas which looks very similar to the Huawei modem with a few technical differences.
Routers are supplied by the ISP or end user.

BT its truly unlimited no fup now but still throttled in the usual areas like p2p/vpn ect
