I have not previously posted here.
I follow various sources of information, including the various availablity checkers and resources such as the MK BAG website.
I note with interest, that there is a very recent document (minutes of a meeting) on the MK BAG website, which states that BT are "disappointed" by takup of FTTC or takeup of the FTTP trial.
Whenever I go to the various websites to check (I gave up phoning the BT and other ISPs some time ago, for advise as to when a fibre-based product would be available) - I am advised that fibre (in any form) is unavailable, with no future date to expect.
I have signed up the 'let me know when it is' forms, and have not been contacted.
Hang on ! How can BT/the council be surpirsed at low takeup, if consumers like me are being told that it is unavailable in anyform?
I live in Campbell Park - aside from being next to CMK (with presumably it's abundance of fibre ... for business users) , pretty close to the Bradwell Abbey exchange in Fishermead.
Broadband provision here is crackers.
MK council are conducting a survey (and grumbling about lack of response) ... lets see if it can make a difference and fill it out for them.
