I am on DR with Ripwire, the speed issue may just be thinkbroadband.com because ever since i've had the service their speedtest results always come back hugely under all the other tests.

I usually stick to TB speed checker as a consistent logged speed test.
In all honesty, the likes of Speedio and other poplular speed test tools give widely varying results.
I also use this as well.

Both the above and TG speed test log your test so easy to review over time.

The most consistent speed test I have come across, as it will always max my FTTC connection is www.heanet.ie. Just d/l any Linux distro from there - vast majority are mirrored there.

Thanks for the review, it is a shining modern example of what Pope was on about all those years ago.

I'm on SYDR, with Origin Broadband..
There's been one or two issues, but so far nothing insurmountable.. key issue at present it trying to get my money back from BT as they continue(d) to bill me for services they're no longer providing me..

Have to say having the same problems with TB's speedtest, it generally indicates much less than any of the others I use, and there's even sigificant fluctuations between the original and flash test...
