A re-shell is either done due to damage or to increase the termination capacity. This might be in order to add the connection strips that terminate the link cable between the PCP and FTTC cabinet


Interesting then that there's no sign yet of an accompanying cab, despite several others appearing in the area. However, today Telent cordoned off a large area maybe 300 m away on a main road and have deposited a large pile of long grey pipes on the grass verge, so looks like a significant amount of new ducting about to be laid.
