Is that working on the new FTTC cab, or at the existing cab? Could just be a normal engineer working on a new line/fault

The main delay with that cab will be getting the power to it as it's all overhead power lines up there. It's also a long way from the exchange so they have to blow the fibre quite a distance, and I'm not convinced they've got all the empty tubing in place yet.

We'll see.

Cabinet 1 in Delph (near our office) has now been installed and there are workmen beginning work on the trench between the copper and FTTC cab this weekend

Hopefully it shouldn't be too long - same for cab 10 (Denshaw) although that is to be fed by overhead power so may take longer to sort out, plus they've not blown the fibre past Delph yet.

Checked last week and option had disappeared. Then this morning back again for possible March date.

Not getting my hopes up too much though.
