Symmetric to me is the unique feature, along with the price. If they get enough places wired up they could be a "disruptive" force in pricing.

Perhaps Hyperoptic can do the three blocks of flats in Farnborough where I live next - please smile

James you sync at 8 times the rate I do on Be my need is greater!!

Seriously though - give them a call and they'll advise what you need to do to make it happen

Higher density managed developments are most attractive to them as it tends to be easier to agree a contract if there's only one or so decision makers.

Basically your development would pay for the fibre install - so it might not be as attractive to your neighbours if your getting decent speed already

Its the one time im glad I get 2.5-3meg max! - easiest sell ever where i live!!

I know they are initially focusing on London but I'm sure once they've sharpened their teeth here other big cities will be targeted.

Nothing to stop you gathering interest in the meantime

I think due to install costs it will initially appeal only to the super geeks and people with poor ADSL speed with no other fibre options...

I've spent the last three years bouncing emails off to BT and virgin - Imagine by disappointment when my area was FTTC enabled but my development was excluded!

I think BT have missed a trick here - if Hyper Optic are quick enough they can get into these not spots before BT starts FTTP - and then they are almost guaranteed the connections - and given the prices they are charging are so competitive I cant see people moaning monopoly!
