BT cabinets have a 2/3/or occasionally 4-digit number.

??? Mine has a single digit on it, the number 1. I don't think I have ever come across a four digit PCP.

As these are newly planned exchanges we (nor any ISP) has any data on a postcode/cab level as of yet I'm afraid.

Well, a singular person deserves a singular cabinet tongue.

There was a discussion a few months ago when I said they never went above 2 digits. See your post there, and an earlier one re Trafford.

Thanks for the info, any idea when the info will be released? Or is just when the cabs start going in it will update?

As WWombat says, sorry. Mine will be the same as his, April. There is at least one poster with bang up-to-date info though, so maybe he will pick up on it.
I think it's a game BT likes to play. I thought I'd pop onto the checker and see if it had changed now that my cabinet is in place and all the workmen and equipment have left.

I was right - it has changed. It now doesn't mention 'fibre based broadband' at all.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry but I'll go with laughing smile

My postcode is ba21 5pn. i have a few cabs nearby 1 the same side of my road and 2 opposite all within 1000 ish yards i would say

The Dec list shows your postcode now. 87% of your postcode are connected to cab 26 with no plans for FTTx. The other 13% (although it's listed as 12%!!!!) are connected to cab 80 with and 8 x times speed increase expected and it's in Phase 9a.

It doesn't have dates, just phases which don't mean a lot as the phase tends to relate to the overall exchange rollout rather than each cab.

However, for that exchange and cab it shows;

{LNILC}{P66},0,100%,4.7,5b,No,FTTP

That means that it's been removed from the current 5b schedule I believe.

No, sorry doesn't show locations - have a wander round, it's likely to cover one corner of the postcode area I assume, shouldn't be more than about 500-600 metres from the edge of the postcode area.
