Trying to understand the spreadsheet does anyone know:
In the Phase column what PF means?
The uplift column? (if you get 10Mb/s now and uplift is 2 is it saying you will probably get 20Mb/s with FTTC?)
Is the uplift column limited to 40Mb/s?
TIA

The uplift column? (if you get 10Mb/s now and uplift is 2 is it saying you will probably get 20Mb/s with FTTC?)
The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that it is the average uplift to the average speed in the postcode at present. If the postcode is small, then it probably applies to everyone. If it is large, then any inidividual result may be rather different to the average.
Is the uplift column limited to 40Mb/s?
It seems so.

Where does the Phase column have PF please? I assume you are talking about a specific row.

I think I saw one I was checking for someone the other day indicating the uplift in the December spreadsheets is based on 17a figures. The BT Wholesale and other checkers are of course 40MBps limited, and perhaps by now 10Mbps upload limited ... checks own ...
Wow! Wrong on both counts at the moment. Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 51.7Mbps and upstream line speed of 13.2Mbps. Modem suggests a maximum of 59976/14603kbps.

I just did that check too... my current line is now predicting 55/18 (while the modem thinks it can attain 90/26). Perhaps I don't suffer much crosstalk yet.
But... my old line sems to have the cap properly in place. It went from 40/11 to 40/10 (and the modem used to have a max attainable rate of 65/15)

I do not know the row numbers as I have imported spreadsheet into database for analysis but can give the postcodes?
These have text similar to "8b (PF to Q1)" in the phase column?

That looks to me as though you have something wrong with the importing. Those look like parts of post codes. We need a couple of full postcodes from that list, not the whole lot. Then we can check the correct data.
What did you use for the source?

100% sure I have imported correctly I have double checked the original CSV (downloaded from the Google link posted on the forum) by searching for ",8b (PF to Q1)," or ",7bf," or ",6bf,"?

Only curiosity it is probably (many hundreds of) typos in the source data I guess but definitely not a bad import.

Can't argue with that . I've checked the first two of those and yes that's what they say in Excel.
I thought there was a thread about the PF to Q1, but I have a feeling it got deleted. Certainly doesn't appear on a search. The suggestion was PF to Q1 meant Pulled/Put Forward to Quarter 1. As for the 7bf and 6bf, maybe something on the same lines, re 7b and 6b? Dunno.

Hmm, what does it mean if your post code isnt on the list?
I've checked the list and it has quite a lot of the post codes in this area but mine isnt on there. I know openreach van as been around here recently so I'm not sure.
The exchange isnt expected to 'go live' until 1st of June.
