That could explain why my initial 5.7MB/s has dropped to a 5.0MB/s. If DLM gets reset at the start of the trial that would be it.

That's good Paul, it's a margin above where mine started too.

Are you getting any tones in the upper reaches this time (above 8.5MHz)? However I found that my line didn't gain interleaving until about a fortnight after installation when the latency jumped overnight from about 8-14 and has stayed consistent at 14-15 ever since. A pity that without the fixed IP address you can't use the TBBQM which is invaluable: mine is here and has been consisent for ages: My Broadband Ping: the old Fritz! does something odd hourly though, and the peak is the daily download.

The good news is that I now seem to have stablised, according to the BT Speedtester with a download of 38/38.71 IP profile, also consistent with speedtest.net. Upload at 6.6/10 profile.

I'm also consistent with the SIN at max/min of 40/20 download and 7.2/3.6 upload.

No, around tone 1720 is the max for my connection.
Attenuation seems too high to get anything above that.

I'll just have see how it goes over the next few days, but I still have no real explanation why on the 17a profile I am not doing any better than in the early days of my original 8c connection.

My connection just re-synced at a lower speed "on the fly" again while I was typing this message.
I'll have a look at the stats to see if I can determine what caused it this time.
