Yeah, I think it may be a limit on the Cisco port or something at the network centre as in reality the MLPPP bonding has never ever reached 100Mb before (bonding ADSL links) so it could be that the port is limited to 100Mb. We'll find out either way

On our side we're using a Linux PC 9acting as a router) with 4 Gigabit LAN cards.

So its no limitation on our side but could be on our suppliers side where the lines terminate at the LNS on the Cisco routers they use to enable the MLPPP bonding service.

I'll speak with their NOC tomorrow.

Indeed - I find that the "Trance FM" server in London, which is the one it wants to use for me by default, can't handle more than about 40-50Mbps, so I have to use a different one.

I have posted a ticket with ADSL 24, please could reply/explain what process of bonding you are using.

I am currently looking into buying a router of some form - Am I correct in saying that the Routerboard would not be sufficient if I were looking at 80/20 x2?

Is there a simpler solution than utilising a PC with Linux as you are, in order to get the desired throughput? Would a router like the cisco dual WANs be appropriate, or are these just for resillience/load balancing.
