Yes - I will try. I think it is an error and probably is referring to Newbury which serves some of the houses in my postcode.

Good website - thanks for that.

BT Openreach sent me a generic response and so far haven't replied to my request.
I am tempted to try to order a new FTTC line and see what happens since I am on the border of the NEWBURY and HERMITAGE exchanges...

Thanks for that - I am on HERMITAGE - that is the problem - if I was on NEWBURY (phone box near by is) then I would be able to request FTTC (I think).

Ian

The order wont go through as all it will say is you are currently unable to recieve a FTTC service.

Their was work scheduled for last week, went by earlier and their was nothing though since the ducts have been cleared any cable laying would only be held by moving the traffic lights further down the road.

Ian their is power work going on at cabinet 14's fibre twin on the double roundabouts in shaw, this cab should be going live soonish.

Also noticed that theirs power work on cabinet 70 junction of love lane and oxford road.

3 cabinets are being installed in the town centre, one by the postoffice, one by liquid and 26 which is on the junction of St Bartholomew and St Michael road.

Oddly the 3 cabinets above where phase 5a, seems to be a mixture of cabinets appearing after the phase has completed in short groups.
