Hi
Can anyone tell me which cabinet I am connected to and when I should expect to be able to get fibre services. My exchange (EPSOM) is enabled and accepting orders (as per Openreach) but BT and Sky's checker shows no availability. Neither is sure why this is so, but their suggestion is that there possibly aren't enough ports.
My post code is KT19 8FQ. The cabinets in my area are all new AFAIK.

Thanks

Michael

KT19 8FQ doesn't appear in the December data.

Have you tried this checker?

I live in a fairly new (18month old) development so the post code doesn't always show up. A post code nearby is KT19 8QJ

That checker does not show fibre as enabled for my telephone number but my exchange has been enabled for FTTC.
Does this mean my cabinet hasn't been updated? is there any way I can check when my cabinet would be?

Nearby postcodes are often irrelevant. That one happens to be on cab 30 and phase 6a, so is probably live. You would need a phone number close to it to check.

If you were connected to cab 30 then I would expect your number to show up with an estimate, even if the cab wasn't live.

Any other way of checking - not that I know of.

Thanks Roberto.

That other post code is practically 100m from me and as its a new-ish development, I assume we are all using the same cabinets or rather one's installed and enabled at the same time.

I'm quite sure its live, as the sky person I spoke to confirmed. She just couldn't work out why my number didn't allow for fibre, which resulted in her suggesting there are no available open ports. I find this strange if my area was only expected to get enabled March and Sky launched today - I can't imagine they have already run out of ports.

I've tried my neighbours telephone number and its the same result.

Do you have an updated link for the list of cabinets / post codes / active dates?

December 2011 is the latest known about, including by people who get it direct from Openreach.

It could likely be that the development was not included in the orginal plans when OR planned the area or its just a postcode database error- not been updated.

Can someone please confirm my local cabinet. My postcode is SS15 6GS House No. 40. Someone at BT recently told me it is currently 66% FTTC and 33% Exchange only. Bt don't seem to think I am able to get even normal BB.
