Re: Mobilising the neighbours

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

Wow - how was that map generated? I've only been able to plot the FTTC postcodes, not the missing ones.

Any way of telling what the red postcodes are? I can expand my leafleting.

Thanks.

EDIT: Never mind - I can click on the marker and it gives me the postcode. I'd still be interested in how to generate the map though, and if the dataset is available online anywhere.

Thanks

Thanks - just what I needed. Can you leave the map up on batchgeo so that I can link to it.
Cheers

So long as the map is viewed at least once every 60 days then batchgeo won't automatically delete it.

you have 3 choices

1 ensure included in BDUK plan for county
look at alternative tehcnology (unliely to be open infrasstructrue)
or you privately fund the Cab (through community) - -- open ifnrastructure- information on how to deal with Openreach if you have private funding is on Openreach website FAQ

I've downloaded that file, but as far as I can see it does not contain the data you show above (IE The postcodes NOT planned for FTTC). I can only see postcodes which ARE planned. Is there another version of file somewhere?

I edited the part I uploaded to batchgeo.

Post codes that are blank for "Deployed" and "FTTC or FTTP" are the ones not being enabled.

On the website you put "Even if you are not interested in Broadband internet, this will still affect you. There is growing evidence that availability of high speed broadband has an impact on property prices.". You should put "this may still affect you" as they may not be thinking of selling and staying put.
