Check your order on bt.com, it should say. I ordered mine yesterday morning at it happened just after midnight.

Hi Ma9mwah,

The order can take up to 3 days to complete. I hope you'll enjoy your new faster speeds smile

Cheers

Having looked at "My packages" on the BT website, It's actually showing me as having ordered BT Infinity 2 with:

Your package includes:

Up to 76Mb download speed
Up to 19Mb upload speed
Advanced security software
Parental controls
Unlimited WiFi minutes
24/7 support

So, depending on how I sync with the cabinet, I should get the faster speeds without having to ask them for it.

Hi,

I think my has been done as my router is reporting

Text
1
23
4
Downstream        Upstream
Attainable rate (kbit/s)   88092                  34157SNR margin (dB)             8.3                      14.9
Line rate (kbit/s)             79999              20000

yet when i go onto the http://speedtester.bt.com/ site it only reports

IP Profile for your line is - 38.72 Mbps
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps

has the upgrade not gone though properly or does the IP profile take time? speeds tests indicated i'm getting ~40/20

If you disconnect and reconnect your session (or reboot the router, not the modem) the IP profile should update immediately.

Edit: From your posting it looks like you may not be using the Openreach modem, so rebooting the router and not the modem may not be possible. What are you using?

OK, I didn't immediately recognise the format. So have you reconnected and got a new IP profile?
