Cabinet 10. You should get at least 5.48 times what you get now. It is the distance from the cabinet that matters for FTTC, not from the exchange.

Does your phone number work in the BT Wholesale checker?

excellent thanks, I'm getting about 9-10mb on 6db line, to it may be sky here i come.

i can indeed put my number into that checker, it says 76.9 down and 20 up, but i wasn't sure if it was unrealistic so i thought if i new the location of the cabinet i could roughly work it out, thanks for the check appreciated

That's why I said "at least" smile. The estimates in the December spreadsheet are, I think, based on the old 8c profile. 17a are higher, and also the 40Mbps cap has gone.

Sky only goes up to 40Mbps of course, which gives a 38.72Mbps IP Profile.

Cabinet number 1, FTTC, but it looks as though you could be a long waay away from it. Not a huge speed increase.

Hi,

I'm in Mirfield (MIR) and FTTC has just been rolled out. The checker still isn't showing available for me. Postcode is WF14 0PW. Would it be possible to find out which cabinet I'm on and when FTTC will be deployed?

Thanks in advance,
Jak

Cabinet 5. Phase 7b. That's according to Dec 11 data. There is a new (April) spreadsheet. Where have you checked availability?
