if its like SRA on adsl then you wont even see a redline, seamless means exactly that, no dropped packets at all.
Not the implementation I experienced. Of course that could just have been BE bad at configuring it but frankly it lived down to my expectations. I don't think anyone on the trial was very impressed.

Pipex used to use SRA on their business broadband back before it was Opal'd and it worked as advertised once I got myself a router that supported SRA.

When I was with UKOnline it worked perfectly but not all routers supported it. From memory I bought a Billion something-or-other to take advantage of it - still up in the loft somewhere I expect. SRA was pure magic - I've no idea why it wasn't more widely implemented unless your experiences are the reason.

ukonline it was seamless, bare in mind the ukonline configruation had my sync speed changing often every 60 seconds, so I would notice packet loss happening every 60 seconds. Instead I could be downloading something, sync speed changes and all I see on my dumeter is a change of speed with no gap in throughput. The only times I had dropped packets was eg. when the noise burst started in the morning rush hour and the time between that and SRA reacting.

I cant comment too much on BE's SRA as their forums all closed shop but of the comments I read on here it seems they didnt configure it too well or the devices used didnt implement SRA too well. As by design it wont drop packets.

Should that be "... so without it I would have noticed ..."?
