Any chance you can advise on my cab ? Postcode is SG8 5LG. FTTC cab installed round the corner from me last month. Local exchange (Royston) taking orders, but I can't sign up and the helpful folk at BT couldn't give me any indication as to when or if I,d benefit from FTTC. Currently only getting 1.7 mbs.

TIA.

There is a new (April) spreadsheet.

Any links, or has it not been leaked yet, or is that just a typo as have not seen any mention on here apart from speculation?

Cheers. I checked on ADSL24 & the Infinity web site.

I got this from the BT online assistant:-

Right now we aren't able to offer you full Infinity because of your location.
My cabinet number is 5 and should have been upgraded during phase 7b
It has, but because of the location and infrastructure we've only been able to increase your speed to 10.76mb.

The BT wholesale checker says :-
Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 10.7Mbps and upstream line speed of 1Mbps.

What would cause this. I'm only about a mile from the exchange, and would have expected better from FTCC?

Fact. Two of us have been told by ISP contacts, and I'm pretty sure different ISPs. There was a post yesterday by an ISP rep that implied there was an update since Dec 2011, so I asked my contact.

Ther's no way I will get a copy from them. I only got the Dec 2011 one when someone posted the googledocs link - I think I gave you that?

I think the next leak wil be traceable to source through dummy data in it.

Hi - please could someone help me?
I am trying to sign up for sky fibre but it looks like my cabinet has not been upgraded yet. My exchange (Laindon EALAI ) has been upgraded to FTTC.
Is there a way of telling me when my cabinet is due for an upgrade?
My postcode is SS15 6GQ

Thanks
