How much longer???

[link to this post]

So my cab was on the December list as phase 9a. So 6 months down the line and nothing! No new cab, no openreach vans, nothing.

Can someone check the new list for SN14 0jd, Cab PCP10.

Was hoping it would at least be in the early stages by now frown

Roughly about in phase 7b going into phase 8 though this does vary across the country as different areas are either ahead or behind depending on the available resources.

check the Elgin website for planned roadworks in your area, that will give you some foresight as to when the cabinets will be installed.

For when your cab goes in I would assume another 6 months before you can place an order

Your exchange initially went live for FTTC in Phase 4a, but has additional roll outs in Phase 6b and Phase 9a. I'm Phase 8b and no work has started here yet.

Your guess is as good as anyone's I think.

I feel your pain, I moved from Bristol to a lovely little seaside town and had to take a massive hit on speed.....just as I started to work from home. I'll be the first one in getting fibre and as I struggle on the speeds I get on ADSL2+
