i will find out, to be honest I can't see it being anything else to be honest. You should know as it would be set up on your router.

I was told today by my neighbours son that he was told by a BT engineer who was sorting out his broadband that it could be Autumn, maybe

why you got two connections?

Two connections must be expensive, that is almost £60 a month.

All pay is suppose to be installing a week Thursday at 9am, i was going to have it done in the afternoon so I don't disturb my next door neighbours Husband as he will only get home from work a couple of hours before and get to bed, but it should be ok, they should not make that much noise.

The reason I am going for it is because it should offer a better service than what I got now and I have been thinking about it for a while, then when i heard fibre was coming here I thought I would wait and see prices, but to be honest fibre is no cheaper, ok it is faster, but no cheaper.

Just fed up of BT, I know I am not using Bt as such as my ADSL is cable and wireless LLU via ADSl24 and my phone is via first telecom, but they still uses Bt lines.

Nice to support a local company as well.

Ah, I see,

I get around 3.5-4 at the moment and that is only because I am on a decent network, (cable and wireless) and tweaked my modem as much as I can. that is why my line is a bit unstable because I am running at the lowest SNr I can get away with to get a little bit more speed.

That is only sync speed, soo actual speed is a bit slower and the 4megabits is normally in the day time, at night it is 3.5, which is when I want the speed as I relax after work and watch something on Netflix.

So five megabits as long as it is pretty close to that will do me fine, i may go for ten to start with, not sure yet, it is only another £2.50 a week,

I don't need 30megabits, so even if we did have fibre here it would be a over kill.

BT Broadband Checker is now showing 30th September for Hereford Infinity, not a surprise unfortunately.
