Coolwebhome doesn't tell you if the cabinets live, only the forecast date and that it's scheduled to be done.

If no other addresses on that cabinet can receive FTTC then it's more likely the cabinets just not ready yet, the forecast date is only an estimate and often slips.

Thanks - should I be worried that the Infinity checker doesnt recognise my postcode yet does neighbouring streets?

I'm hoping that when my cabinet is made live the accompanying database update clears things up.

Is your post code for a new house/estate?

What is your post code? Or PM it to me if you want.

Rather than the Infinity checker, I suggest the BT Wholesale one.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - Plusnet Value Fibre 80/20 trial.

Still waiting for BT Infinity in Carlton Colville.
Apparently BT are saying 30th September now after a delay in getting the fibre over the river and availability of engineers from London.
Fingers crossed games from steam will take seconds not hours in the next month or so.

Do you think the 100mb FFTP will be too much? smile

?
Do you mean FTTP? FTTP isn't mentioned in the December 2011 data. Only FTTC, maximum speed 80Mbps, depending on distance from the cabinet.

There could be some FTTP scheduled in later spreadsheets of course. Have you seen a mention of it for any Lowestoft areas?

Hi Robert
Yes FTTP, sorry typo.
I haven't seen any mention yet, to be honest I would be happy with 2mb let alone 100mb.

Just waiting for my cabinet to go live in September now, as even using youtube is bad.
