Ah - I'm now suspecting that the proliferation of cabinets may be Virgin Media cabinets!

Yes, that postcode is served by cab 27. Some cab pictures of BT and VM.

Great, thanks!

The majority of the cabinets I've seen are a lot more like the virgin ones (pointed tops and sprayed on writing on the side) than the BT ones, so I guess they are Virgin Media cabinets.

Thanks!

James

Well well well.
Checking my FTTC availability today, and BT.com now says that I will have to wait until 30th June, rather than 31st March like it was before.

This is not a big deal to me personally, as I am tied in to O2 Until end of June anyway, but it's a bit annoying that it can change when we're so close to the original implementation date.

The 31st of March date was a placeholder, just like 30 June. If a cabinet is not going to meet its quarter date, it gets reset to the next quarter. Once a firm date is decided on for the go live, the checker will be updated with a non end of quarter date.

Thanks.

So it's possible that the date has actually only been delayed by, say, 1 week, but it's gone over the quarter end-date. let's hope so!

Hi

I see that Samknows and BT are showing Reigate as enabled now. But still nothing happening out my way.

Has anyone else managed to get connected in Reigate yet?

Cheers
Mark

In reply to a post by Moradin:
e) Is there any one that you can appeal too, or a way to canvass enough support to get BT to enable the cabinet?

Nope, not as far i know. its BT. a law unto themselves. If it was me, i would get everyone connected to cabinet 19 (the one your connected to), to enter their details into the availability checker, and register interest.. then BT might notice.

not strictly true, maybe I asked nicely or got the right persons attention, but Openreach come and installed fibre for me when I asked, new DP and ducting not a small job by any means.

Hiya

Any one got any news on the PCP streadsheet updates from BT? Is there a June/July spreadsheet available yet?

Still hoping for some news on when my cabinet LSREI PCP 19 will be upgraded since the exchange is now live.

Cheers
Mark
